PRELAUNCH PRIVACY
Your privacy should be easy to understand.
This page explains what FRISKD collects while you join early access, why we need it, and what you can do with it. The finished FRISKD app will have its own privacy policy before launch.
What you give us
To join early access, you give us your email address, confirm that you are 18 or older, and choose whether you want optional FRISKD prelaunch and launch emails. We may also keep a simple first-party campaign or referral label and the timestamps needed to run the waitlist.
We verify your email before saving your spot
We send a short-lived verification link and six-digit code to the email you enter. Your early-access record is not confirmed until one of them works. Verification links and codes expire, and manual code attempts are limited. Asking for a verification email does not sign you up for ongoing updates unless you choose them.
What we do not ask for
You do not need to give us your phone number, exact location, sexual role or position, kinks, profile details, health information, private messages, contacts, travel plans, or browsing history just to join early access.
How we protect and recognize your email
Your saved email is encrypted by FRISKD before it is stored. We also keep a protected lookup value that lets us recognize the same verified email later without using your plain email as the lookup key.
What we use your early-access information for
We use it to verify your spot, prevent duplicate records, operate your privacy and email preferences, understand broad first-party campaign performance, and let you claim your early-access record when FRISKD launches. If you turn optional updates on, we may also use your verified email to send those updates.
Your early-access record is the bridge to your account
Joining early access does not create a public profile yet. At launch, you can verify the same email again, claim your saved early-access record, and continue creating your FRISKD account without starting over. Your username, profile, login security, and E2EE device setup come later as part of the actual account flow.
Optional updates stay optional
If you leave the updates box unchecked, your early-access spot can still be verified and saved. If you opt in, you can turn those emails off later from your private waitlist settings link.
Bot protection and abuse prevention
We use Cloudflare Turnstile and rate limits to reduce automated abuse. FRISKD does not intentionally save raw IP addresses or browser user-agent strings in the waitlist record just because our edge infrastructure can see them.
Who can access your waitlist information
The systems that run the waitlist need to be able to read this information, so it is not end-to-end encrypted. Access is limited to the systems and people that need it to operate FRISKD early access. Private-message E2EE belongs to the FRISKD app itself, not this waitlist.
Advertising and tracking
We do not use behavioral advertising pixels on the prelaunch site. We may save a basic first-party source label so we can tell whether interest came from an ad, creator, venue, or generic share link. We do not need your future FRISKD profile, private messages, sexual-health information, exact location, or social graph to measure that.
Turning updates off or deleting your record
Your confirmation email includes a private waitlist settings link. Turning updates off stops optional prelaunch emails but keeps your verified early-access record so you can still claim it at launch. Deleting your prelaunch record is separate: it removes the saved early-access record, its private management links, and pending verification state tied to that email. It does not delete a future FRISKD account. If you join early access again later, you will need to verify your email again.
Phone verification later
FRISKD may later use phone verification for security, recovery, trust, or anti-abuse purposes. Phone verification is not part of this prelaunch signup, and joining early access does not give us permission to send you marketing texts.
